Sessionsbeskrivning: The Israeli coast is a small part of the Mediterranean Sea, but it is of big importance. For biological diversity and the ecological status, but also for the wellbeing of people and society. Daniel Schaffer is the CEO of the Foundation for Environmental Education and as an Israeli, he has a long professional history in the Israeli environmental movement. What are the challenges for the environment and climate in the Israeli context? Is there regional cooperation between Israel and its neighbors to save the Mediterranean sea? Can you separate political conflicts from the common need of sustainable development and safeguarding the environment?
