November 29, 1947 is the day the United Nations General Assembly (UN) decided on ending the British Mandate of Palestine, and establishing two independent states in the former mandate – a Jewish and an Arab state (called the Partition Plan.) During the session we will learn what was the dream behind the establishment of the State of Israel and try to examine what we have achieved and what can be achieved in the future.
